Making friends in the Self publishing industry.

To be a self published author it is better to make friends with all you can along the way and gain what knowledge you can. It is possible to do the job alone, but why make it harder on yourself. Make friends and ask for helpful advice and be willing to exchange any advice that helped you along the way. Shared information is the way to help, not only yourself reach a goal, but others as well. When you look at the back or insides of a NYTBS book and see the names of familiar authors that are also on that list. It is clear proof that they helped one another.
I am always thankful for any knowledge passed to me and willing to share it with others. Even as we speak I have learned many more things about self publishing.
ARC-Advanced Review Copies are sent out to BETA readers and for their added information on character development, storyline and other helpful information when the completed book comes out their reviews will be the first to go up. You can anywhere from 20 to over 100 reviews in a matter of hours.
Having a following is just as important as those that you have reviewing your books before their release. I am currently working on that as we speak. It is only a matter of time before my following will be so great that I will achieve my goal.
